Samuel Pickwick is the main protagonist of The Pickwick Papers, the first novel by Charles Dickens. As one of the author’s most famous and beloved creations, he is a retired, successful businessman.

Pickwick serves as the founder and chairman of the Pickwick Club. This organization was established with the goal of exploring locations remote from London and investigating the quaint and curious phenomena of life found within them.
