Sampson Brass
Sampson Brass is a corrupt attorney from Bevis Marks in London who appears in the 1841 Charles Dickens novel The Old Curiosity Shop. He maintains a facade of concern for his clients while actively cheating them for his own gain.
Among his clientele is the novel’s antagonist, Daniel Quilp. Brass assists Quilp in fraudulently seizing the home of Nell’s grandfather and plots against Kit Nubbles. Additionally, he is responsible for hiring and subsequently dismissing Dick Swiveller.
