Porthos
Porthos, also known as Baron du Vallon de Bracieux de Pierrefonds, is a fictional character featured in Alexandre Dumas’s novels The Three Musketeers, Twenty Years After, and The Vicomte de Bragelonne. He serves as a friend to the protagonist, d’Artagnan, alongside his fellow musketeers, Athos and Aramis.
The character is a highly fictionalized representation of the historical musketeer Isaac de Porthau.
