Madame Giry

Madame Giry is a fictional character who first appeared in Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel, The Phantom of the Opera. While she serves as an intermediate character in the original book, her role was significantly expanded in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 1986 musical adaptation.

She also appears in the 2010 musical Love Never Dies, which serves as a sequel to the original Phantom of the Opera story.
