Erik

Erik is the titular central character of Gaston Leroux’s novel Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, which is known to English speakers as The Phantom of the Opera.

The character has been adapted into alternative media on several occasions. These adaptations include the 1925 film starring Lon Chaney, the 1943 remake featuring Claude Rains, the 1962 remake starring Herbert Lom, and the musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
