Anne of Austria

Anne of Austria served as the Queen of France from 1615 to 1643 through her marriage to King Louis XIII. Additionally, she held the title of Queen of Navarre until that kingdom was annexed into the French crown in 1620.

Following the death of her husband, Anne acted as regent for her son, Louis XIV, during his minority. She maintained this position of authority until 1651.
