Ali Pasha

Ali Pasha, also known as Ali Pasha of Yanina or Ali Pasha of Tepelena, was an Albanian ruler who served as the pasha of the Pashalik of Yanina. His territory encompassed a large portion of western Rumelia, and under his governance, the region achieved a high degree of autonomy, effectively maintaining de facto independence.

The Pashalik was centered in the capital city of Ioannina. Along with Tepelena, Ioannina served as one of Ali’s primary headquarters.
