Maggie Haberman

Maggie Lindsy Haberman is an American journalist who serves as a White House correspondent for The New York Times and a political analyst for CNN. Her extensive reporting career includes previous roles at the New York Post, the New York Daily News, and Politico. Throughout her career, she has focused on covering Donald Trump, rising to prominence for her reporting on his campaign, his first presidency, and his time out of office.

Haberman is the author of two best-selling books regarding the former president. In 2022, she published Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America. She followed this in 2026 with the release of Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump, which she co-authored with Jonathan Swan.
