Madeline Miller

Madeline Miller is an American novelist and the author of The Song of Achilles, published in 2011, and Circe, published in 2018. She spent ten years writing The Song of Achilles while working as a teacher of Latin and Greek.

The Song of Achilles, which tells the story of the love between the mythological figures Achilles and Patroclus, won the Orange Prize for Fiction, making Miller the fourth debut novelist to receive the award. In 2019, she was also a recipient of the Alex Awards.
