George Noel Gordon Byron, the 6th Baron Byron, was a British poet and a major figure of the Romantic movement. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest British poets in history.

His best-known works include the lengthy narratives Don Juan and Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage. Additionally, many of his shorter lyrics featured in Hebrew Melodies achieved significant popularity.
