Lord George Gordon Byron

George Noel Gordon Byron, the 6th Baron Byron, was a British poet and a major figure of the Romantic movement. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest British poets in history.

His literary legacy includes the popular shorter lyrics found in Hebrew Melodies, as well as his best-known lengthy narrative works, Don Juan and Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage.
