Henry James

Henry James was an American-British author widely considered to be among the greatest novelists in the English language. A key transitional figure between literary realism and literary modernism, his work remains a significant contribution to the literary canon.

Born into a notable family, he was the son of theologian Henry James Sr. and the brother of philosopher and psychologist William James and diarist Alice James.
