Alan Moore

Alan Moore is an English author widely recognized by critics and peers as one of the best comic book writers in the English language. He is primarily known for his work on titles including Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The Ballad of Halo Jones, Swamp Thing, Batman: The Killing Joke, Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?, and From Hell.

Throughout his career, Moore has occasionally written under pseudonyms such as Curt Vile, Jill de Ray, Brilburn Logue, and Translucia Baboon. In instances where he requested his name be removed from his work, some reprints have been credited to The Original Writer.
